Bichitrapur Mangrove forest is developed by Odisha Forest Sector Development Programme in regeneration, conservation and protection of mangrove forests. Bichitrapur is a small hamlet in Baleswar (Balasore) District of Odisha and around 15KM from Digha in West Bengal. It is located 59 KM towards East from District head quarters Balasore. Bichitrapur is on the border of the Baleshwar District and Medinipur East District. Bichitrapur is roughly 50 kilometres from Jaleswar and 100 kilometres from Balasore. The diversion you need to take from NH5 is towards Digha/Talasari before the Octroi toll gate.
