All people celebrate Boita Bandana and Danga Bhasa on Kartika Purnima. People used to visit Jagannatha Temple, Puri in this Kartika Masa. And Kartika Purnima or the Panchuka is considered as the end of Kartika Masa. So on this day, devotes float Boita in the Mahodadhi (Bay of Bengal) as well as at some ponds like Narendra Puskarani.
